It tells the story of a family in chaos due to children with temperamental behavior. In 1999, 3 siblings, Malik, Mariam and Marina live with their parents, Halim and Zainab, and their maternal grandmother, Tok Su. They are not a wealthy family, working on rented rice fields. Mariam has been under pressure since childhood because she is always looked down upon by her grandmother, Tok Su. Tok Su often favors her younger sister, Marina, who is said to be much more beautiful compared to her. Although her mother, father and adoptive brother, Malik, are on her side, Mariam remains oppressed. Marina's misdeeds also traumatize Mariam.
