The story begins in 1941. On Stalin's orders, a special group of highly secretive intelligence agents is formed. The members of this group are well-trained military personnel who are fearless, loyal to their country, and obedient to their superiors. Their first mission was prepared by Stalin himself. According to his orders, the group must infiltrate the enemy's rear and locate Yakov Dzhugashvili, who is believed to be a captive. As it turns out, Yakov is Stalin's eldest son. The members of the group face a challenging task. Failure or disobedience is punishable by death. No one knows for sure whether Yakov is alive or not.
