Viktor Mikhailovich Chebrikov ― chairman of the KGB of the USSR (1982-1988), Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee (September 30, 1988 - September 20, 1989), candidate member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee (December 26, 1983 - April 23, 1985), member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee (April 23, 1985 - September 20, 1989).
